The majority of these recordings are live vinyl record mixes using tied tone arms to create loops. Creating loops this way allows them to change and alter without further manipulation as the wire flexes, stretches or breaks. Utilising up to 16 record players simultaneously, often familiar sounds are layered to create shifting rhythmic patterns exploring both compostion, musical structure and the nature of recorded sound.
