LIVE STREAMS
or maybe just previous live recordings

As well as a means of sharing some of the records and other audio I have collected, I am very interested in documenting processes and laying them open to be seen at all stages of development. To this end over the last 6 years I have been webcasting using free services. These seem to come and go. Initially being free and then once established charging for storage and to remove the increasingly annoying advertising.
Being in rural west Wales with low upload speed means they are pretty low-resolution but are still able to represent a live often improvised creative process.

So if it's on and working, you should see a collection of found and donated audio equipment collected over the last 6 years. In the main area there are around 16 mostly usable turntables attached to various found mixers. You might also see a keyboard, a Yamaha VSS-200 or a Casio PT-87, VL-Tone or 101. Theres a number of different cameras hooked up which I occasionally switch between, the most used being an old Intel webcam, but theres also a couple of b&w cctv cameras too and a mini radio (headmounted) camera. If you can see and hear stuff but theres no sign of me, it will probably be a minidisc recording from the archive. Chances are if theres vision but no sound I will be along to play something soon. (Alternatively I might be playing a video or it could be a view from my studio window, should be obvious enough).

There are a limited number of viewers at any time, if the stream is unavailable please try again later.

Theres over 70 hours of recordings through the On Demand menu in the player above as well as a number of previous webcasts in the archive.
